A Cancer Resource Nurse is a registered nurse who has undertaken additional education in supportive cancer care and specialises in supporting people affected by cancer. A Cancer Resource Nurse can: - Support those affected by cancer at diagnosis, during and after active treatment in navigating the individual's health and emotional needs - Arrange referrals - Provide information & contacts for cancer services - Communicate on behalf of clients with their Doctors and other health care providers
