Additional information
The Continence Nurse Advisor works with the District Nurse team and visits clients in their homes. A full assessment of the client is undertaken, advice is provided on the management of the condition, education and information is also provided, and assistance can be obtained when making applications to the Continence Aids Assistance Scheme and other funding bodies if clients are eligible for products and equipment. The advisor may also refer to other health professionals.
