Amputees Queensland seeks to ensure that no one goes through limb loss alone and that individuals receive the support and information that they require. Losing a limb and becoming an amputee is traumatic, having somebody who understands and has had a similar experience to you is invaluable. Our peer support volunteers understand the challenge of losing a limb or adapting to life after amputation, we aim to match individuals with volunteers of similar ages, causes and limb differences.
