The Aboriginal Mental Health Team provides cultural consultation liaison services to CCLHD mental health services, including inpatient and community teams. The Aboriginal Mental Health Team's activities include:
Provision of culturally informed social and emotional assessments of patients to inform and compliment clinical mental health assessment
Promote engagement between Aboriginal consumers and their treating team by ensuring services are provided in a culturally responsive and safe manner
