Radiation oncology outreach clinic provides services for the assessment and management of a variety of cancer types. Radiation therapy treatment involves consultation with a radiation oncology specialist, treatment booking, education and organising accommodation. Specialist nurses provide education and support for patients/family. Cancer care and Leukaemia social worker available for phone support and visit Griffith once a month. This unit is attached to an accident and emergency department.
