Staffed by experienced registered nurses who have all undertaken post graduate studies in chemotherapy nursing. The unit operates closely with the medical specialist's consulting rooms, ensuring close liaison with medical staff. Education and support for patients undergoing chemotherapy is provided onsite. Should patients require overnight admission to support them during their chemotherapy treatment, rooms are available in the Medical Unit adjacent to the Chemotherapy Day Unit.
