The Antenatal and Gynaecology Ward cares for women: -requiring hospitalisation for a pregnancy related issue. -with babies if beds are unavailable in the postnatal unit. -who have had gynaecological surgery or other conditions. -where available if you have a baby in the Centre for Newborn Care (CNC). - attending the Gynaecology Assessment Unit. A team of midwives staffs the ward with 24-hour support from obstetricians, gynaecologists, neonatologists, and other specialists as required.
