Additional information
Breastfeeding is promoted with support to initiate and establish breastfeeding. Women and their partner or support person are encouraged to attend the pre-birth breastfeeding class. If you are an inpatient on the antenatal ward, or if you missed this class due to a premature birth you are very welcome to come along. Please talk to your midwife to arrange this with the Lactation Consultant. Referrals and consultations can be arranged through your midwife.
