When attending the Canberra Hospital collection centre, patients must bring a pathology request form from their treating practitioner. Patients should also bring their Medicare card to enable bulk-billing for most tests. The Canberra Hospital centre operates on a drop-in basis, however tests such as Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT), do require an appointment. This can be done online at www.health.act.gov.au/actpathology. ECG Service require an appointment made prior by phoning the collection centre.
