'Forbes is a low risk Birthing unit staffed by midwives and with GP/Obstetricians/Anaesthetist servicing the unit. We have the capability for booked and emergency caesarean sections. Referrals are made to the high risk clinic in Orange if warranted and to allied health services where required.
A shared care ante natal clinic is held on a Tuesday and is quite busy. Bookings-in are opportunistic and attended when possible. Every second month on a Sunday, ante natal classes are held.
