To maximise the health of women through the provision of culturally sensitive clinical and non-clinical activities and programs which are conducted either individually or in groups.
In addition, women’s health services provide broad based health promotion activities according to identified needs in the community on request.
A registered nurse with family planning qualifications is available for individual and group consultations for women of any age. Women's Health Services available: emergency contraception advice, contraception advice/options, clinical breast examination, breast awareness education, pap tests (free service), menopause information, urinary incontinence advice/referral, sexually transmitted infections advice, sexuality issues counselling, pregnancy counselling, vaginal health advice, fertility/infertility information, natural family planning methods, newly arrived women's health issues.
The Centre offers a range of services as follows: home visiting for women with disabilities, interpreters on site, diabetes nurse, Ante Natal Clinic -Wednesdays 9.00-4.00pm provided by Western Health, Sunshine Maternity Services.
