Entry Procedures Parents and guardians may telephone or visit the CAMHS service closest to them. Adolescents over 16 years of age may contact CAMHS without parent or guardian consent or knowledge. School Counsellors, General Practitioners and other service providers may also contact CAMHS however contact from the parent/guardian or young person (if over 16 years of age) is usually required to formalise the referral
