BreastScreen SA is a free government breast cancer screening service. A mammogram is recommended for all women aged 50 to 69 without breast symptoms every two years and has been found to reduce your chance of dying from breast cancer by about 40%. Women aged 40 years and over who have no breast symptoms are eligible to attend for free screening.
