Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Service (AMIHS) is a targeted maternity service for women having Aboriginal babies. It is a community-based continuity of care program through pregnancy and the postnatal period up to 8 weeks. The care is provided in a partnership model by midwives and Aboriginal Health Workers.
