This unit provides a full range of outpatient chemotherapy regimes for oncology patients and patients requiring cytotoxic drugs for treatments of other diseases. The unit is attached to an accident and emergency department. The unit also provides a range of supportive therapies such as blood products, bisphosphonates and hormone injections. Central venous access devices such as ports and PICC lines are also managed. Patients requiring inpatient chemotherapy regimes are referred to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. Follow up and supportive care is provided locally in Dubbo. Referrals to the Look Good, Feel Better program and the Leukaemia Foundation are also available
