The Community Midwife Program provides a free confidential service to women living in Dubbo who have given birth in Dubbo or at a city hospital. Experienced midwives provide support and information to women and their babies relating to postnatal needs, infant care, parenting, feeding, sleep and settling, and other related topics. Visits are arranged from hospital following birth for up to 10 days after. Child and Family Health Nurses then take over care. Please contact us for more information.
