Service provides speech pathology assessment and treatment to adults experiencing speech, language , voice, or swallowing concerns.
Services are provided at Maitland Hospital, Cessnock District Hospital and Kurri Kurri District Hospital sites, and occassionally home visits.
Referrals are accepted for aphasia, dysarthria and dysphagia (without VFSS). Requests for VFSS from private speech pathologists need to be discussed with Maitland Hospital Site Senior Speech Pathologist.
