Provides professional counselling, information and advocacy in the areas of debt control/management as well as the provision of information regarding options available to financial counselling clients. The main target group for this service is people on low incomes. People who present with financial difficulties are assessed and assisted on the basis of need. The Financial Counsellor also offers group education sessions and consultancy to other agencies and organisations.
