The Queensland Bowel Cancer Screening Program is part of a National Bowel Cancer Screening Program using Faecal Occult Blood Testing (FOBT). The FOBT is a simple to use test which involves collecting a small sample from two bowel motions. An FOBT looks to see whether there are tiny amounts of blood in your motion.
People aged 45–74 are eligible to screen through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.
