Additional information
This service provides pre operative counseling and siting for stoma formation, education and support service for colostomy ileostomy and ileal conduit formation. Outpatient stomal therapy clinic and home visits for stoma support, ongoing education and management. Advice re stomal complications such as peristomal skin excoriation, parastomal hernias and prevention of same. Also provides dietary and sexual education for person with a stoma and colostomy irrigation.
