Acute Mental Health Inpatient services available at Flinders Medical Centre comprise:
- Mental Health consumers can either be admitted in a planned manner through Community Mental Health Services, through an emergency department or via a general medical/surgical pathway.
- The Statewide Eating Disorder Service: a 10-bed inpatient unit on ward 4GP.
- Older Person's Mental Health Services: a 30-bed inpatient unit on ward 18V, and
- The Mental Health Short Stay Unit.
