Provides emotional support and parenting skills to families who are at risk or experiencing difficulties coping with child rearing and may need additional support.
Areas of support include:

-- Exhaustion & stress
-- Post Natal Depression
-- Parenting including transition to parenthood, sole parenting, step parenting.
-- Child/parent relationships
-- Normal child behaviour & challenging child behaviour
-- Special needs including child or parent disability, chronic illness, isolation and young parents.A 24 hour statewide Maternal & Child Health Line is also available by telephoning 132 229.
