A Maternal & Child Health Nurse for Aboriginal families monitors child health & development and offers help in understanding child behaviour & developing parenting skills. Services may include infant health screening, feeding advice, parent & child groups, new mothers' groups, immunisation programs and referrals where appropriate. Home visits are available by arrangement.
