The Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) provides specialist multidisciplinary referral, education and advisory service for people experiencing memory loss, confusion or thinking (cognitive) problems and for their carers, and families.
Symptoms may include: Short term memory loss; personality changes - frustration or anger; loss of ability to do everyday tasks, failure to recognise familiar people or objects; wandering; anxiety; mobility impairment; incontinence; pain or speech difficulties.

-- Assessment of the impact of any impairment within the home or other familiar environment.
-- Education, support and advice.
-- Linkages to appropriate service via a general practitioner or principal care provider.
-- Referral, if appropriate, of clients or carers to other service providers.
