The Early Counselling and Community Outreach Program is a specialised mental health early intervention program for children, adolescents, and adults, aged 8-25 years. The program provides assessment and treatment of mental health or emotional problems, with an emphasis on identification and treatment of mental health problems before they become of a severity requiring psychiatric treatment. Assessment and counselling are provided in a setting that is accessible to the young person. Locations used on a regular basis include a local youth accommodation and family support agency and several local schools. Services are accessible to persons and community agencies that are within Inala and surrounding suburbs.
