Our Wellness Program in Kangara is essentially a day program for seniors with dementia and their carers. Set in a safe and friendly environment, we provide group activities designed to stimulate cognitive, physical and social processes, while simultaneously giving carers a well-deserved break.
We understand that your needs may differ from another's and so, we always make sure our Kangara Wellness Program caters towards your personal requirements. One way we achieve this is through social activities like:
• Sing-a-longs
• Cooking
• Bingo
• Craft / painting
• Exercise groups
These activities are carefully coordinated by a member of our team, who is accredited to a minimum level Certificate III in Aged Care and who receives regular training in Aged Care, Dementia and Leisure and Lifestyle.
