Additional Information: Weekend assistance is available 24 hours around the clock from Friday night through to Monday 1 am Open 24 hours. The Mobile Assistance Patrol gives Aboriginal people under the influence of alcohol or other substances in public places transport home or to medical agencies, rehabilitation centres or welfare services. Clients are also referred to sobering-up and detox centres including Joslin or Warranilla, with follow up, after care and family support. The Assessment, Referral and Counselling team speak with clients referred to ASG for assistance with recovery from substance misuse. To enter ASG's stabilisation programs, clients must be able to maintain sobriety throughout their stay.
Clients can be referred to the team by ASG's Mobile Assistance Patrol, other agencies or self. The team assesses clients' needs and develops a management plan which includes referral to an appropriate ASG program or external service.
Clients who are not ready to undertake stabilisation are provided with advice, support and referral to services, which can assist with accommodation, legal, welfare, employment, health, fitness, family relationship, and education issues. Some may be referred to detoxification services at Joslin or Warranilla.

Annie Koolmatrie House and Cyril Lindsay House stabilisation program prepares clients for independent living and the health and fitness centre assists with detoxification and improved fitness, health, confidence and overall well being. The Cultural Program teaches, promotes and advocates Aboriginal cultural practice to assist clients break the cycle of substance misuse. See our website for further information available.
Client must be over 18 years of age, sign a contract to abstain from alcohol, drugs and non-prescription medication, are required to attend the House weekly program which may include gym, regular meetings with assigned Case Workers, housing appointments.
Clients of ASG who have undertaken the Stabilisation Program and who require longer-term rehabilitation are referred to Lakalinjeri Tumbetin Waal, a non-medical dry rehabilitation centre located on a farm at Monarto.
