Works with local Aboriginal Communities to improve their health and well being. Advises, informs and refers to mainstream services, health screening tests, diabetes care, counselling, and assist health workers understand the needs and culture of the Aboriginal Community. Does not provide after hours or crisis services or cater for transport to appointments. For after hours services, Lifeline is available 24 hours for the cost of a local call on 13 11 14.
