Additional Information: A linen home delivery service is available to support people with continence management or those with palliative needs. Individual linen requirements are assessed by Home Help Service (HHS) and from this a service plan for linen deliveries is developed. The service provides bed linen including single and queen size sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, absorbent bed pads and adsorbent chair pads. Linen deliveries are made once or twice a week to the home by a linen field worker. To ensure privacy, the deliveries are made in an unidentified van. Additional Information: Home Help Service (HHS) is a service provider for DVA HomeFront which is a falls and accident prevention program. The DVA HomeFront Program provides free annual home assessments to identify potential hazards in and around the home for eligible recipients. HomeFront assessments are carried out by an Occupational Therapist. Once potential hazards are identified then HHS can organise for contractors to install safety aids and perform minor home modifications, in accordance with the DVA guidelines together with HHS organisational policy and procedures. Personal Care assistance can include, but is not limited to showering, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, and assistance with mobility.
