Junction Youth Health Service has a Youth Worker available to provide support, case management, referral and advocacy to young people aged 12-25 and their dependants. Young people are welcome to just pop in for a chat about anything.
The Junction Youth Health Service provides free primary health care and support services to young people aged 12 to 25, along with their dependent children.
They have a particular focus on young people who are homeless or otherwise experience (or are at risk of) disadvantage.
Services include: GPs, nurses, antenatal care, smoking cessation support, drug & alcohol counselling, case management, youth work support in addition to outreach to schools.
The Junction also provides information, education, and advocacy on health issues affecting young people in the Canberra region.
Please note that patients must be eligible for a Medicare card in order to access this service. Special consideration to non-Medicare patients will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Junction Youth Health Service provides free STI screening and free HPV vaccinations for young people aged 12-25. The Junction also provides free pregnancy testing and support to explore options in relation to pregnancy and referral and support to access other services, as required.

Junction Youth Health Service has a Smoking Cessation Clinic available to young people aged 12-25 which is provided by the Cancer Council of the ACT. The clinic includes access to free nicotine replacement therapy, counselling and support to cease or change smoking habits to improve health outcomes.
