As well they undertake personal care consisting of a range of activites that a person would normally do themselves but because of illness, disability or frailty they are unable to perform without the assistance of another person.
People of all ages requiring care at home can use the service, subject to our nursing assessment. Where the service is requested the nurses will visit at an arranged time and undertake an assessment to determine the care required. If there has been no Doctor's referral, the nurses may request one at this time if they think it is necessary.
The service is available 9.00 am - 4.30 pm, Monday - Friday, by arrangement.
Fees
Fees are charged per visit, dependent on people's requirements. Dressings requirements are supplied at minimal cost.
