How MND Australia can help
MND Australia fulfills their vision and mission by:
- drawing on the latest, high quality scientific research on the causes, management and care of MND to improve and support the provision of evidence-based care
- through MND Connect creating high quality, easy-to-read guides, fact sheets and other information resources to empower and inform people living with, or impacted by, MND
- developing innovative campaigns that bring insights from local experience to a national level to inform and influence decision makers
- optimising access to needs-based government funded supports for all people living with MND, regardless of age, background or ability to pay
- through their research arm MND Research Australia, investing research donations in the highest calibre research and innovation to find more effective treatments, develop better care, and maximise quality of life.
