Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation

The Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI) is a partnership Centre between one of Australia’s largest health service, Monash Health and one of our largest Universities, Monash University, and brings national and international leadership and reach in women’s health, public health and implementation.

Vision and mission

MCHRI’s vision is Better Care, Better Equity, Better Health, and is focused on prevention and care to improve health, especially for women, girls and their families.

Our core themes of research include:

  • public health in preconception, pregnancy & postpartum
  • reproductive women’s health (incl PCOS, early menopause, infertility)
  • healthy lifestyle
  • cardiovascular health & diabetes
  • public health across mental health
  • women’s financial wellbeing
  • advancing women’s leadership & careers

How MCHRI can help

MCHRI provides health resources and information for women, health professionals and policy makers.

They provide women with health apps, resources and information, including in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), early menopause, infertility, lifestyle, pregnancy and also professional development in health leadership.

MCHRI develops resources for health professionals and provides professional development in women’s health, implementation and consumer and community involvement.

With partners, MCHRI developed the clinical guidelines for PCOS, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and unexplained infertility.
