Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics. It’s a strong pain relieving medicine that works in the brain and spinal cord. It may cause drowsiness.
Nurofen Plus is available in tablets. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or immediately after food. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
