Medical Rehabilitation Program provides inpatient therapy for people with a variety of medical illnesses, placing special emphasis on neurological disorders, particularly strokes including outpatient participation in hydrotherapy and the Centre for Physical Activity in Ageing programs: EntryProcedures People are referred to Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre when rehabilitation treatment is likely to enhance their recovery and they are physically capable of participating in the programs. This is decided by consultation between their own doctor and therapist and those at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre.

We provide consultations for 'comprehensive geriatric assessment' to assist general practitioners with managing geriatric syndromes in people over the age of 65 years old such as: Frailty/Sarcopenia, Cognitive impairment/Dementia, Malnutrition, Falls, polypharmacy and diagnostic medical problems in older people.

Saturday service available monthly on the first Saturday of the month.

We can put you in contact with a social worker, palliative care nurse, dietitian, psychologist, pharmacist, occupational therapist, oncology nurse or geriatrician who can provide emotional and practical support: WaitingListDetails The goal is to improve your ability to cope with day to day life and offer support to you and your family during this time.
