Senior Citizen's Clubs provide social and recreational opportunities for people over 55 years of age. Younger people with disabilities are also eligible to join.


The SAILS program provides daytime recreation and leisure support to adults with an intellectual disability. The flexible and tailored program reflects the interests and goals of individual participants, who have an active role in selection of activities.

Ballarat Health Services - Ballarat Base Hospital

Provides specialised day care for people with irreversible dementia and residential respite for the carers of people who have irreversible dementia is available one weekend in three.
Activities are flexible and based on the needs of the client.

Clients need to be referred to the Centre through the Grampian's Aged Care Assessment Service, Ph: 03 5320 3740.

Eyres House is located at 810 Ligar St, Ballarat.

Fees
$11 per day including meal & transport.($5 meal, $3 transport & $3 activities)
Weekend respite $90.00 per weekend (Friday morning to Monday afternoon)
No one will be denied access due to an inability to pay.

Central Intake is an access and referral management service providing consumers; carers and patients with a single point of entry to those programs within the scope of Community Programs as well as facilitating navigation of the broader community service system.  Programs: Post Acute Care; Hospital Admission Risk Program; Grampians Regional Continence Service; Cognitive, Dementia and Memory Service; Allied Health; Rehab in the Home; Grampians Regional Palliative Care Team; Planned Activity Groups; Linkages; Aged Care Assessment Service and Carer Respite and Support Services. Provides social and recreational opportunities for frail aged people, younter people with a disability and their carers.  A group meal is also provided and transport to and from the Centre can be arranged.

The Group meets Wednesdays & Thursdays.
