The Aboriginal Health Team works with local Aboriginal communities, including outreach to Point Pearce, to improve their health and wellbeing. They advise, inform and refer to mainstream health services. They also provide health screening, diabetes care, counselling, and assist health workers to understand the needs and culture of the Aboriginal community

The Aboriginal Health Team assists and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families and escorts during their stay at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. They can also help patients and their family to understand the hospital processes and procedures.  The Aboriginal Health Team works across the hospital and can assist inpatients and outpatients.

Medical services include antenatal and postnatal care, children's, women's and men's health, immunisation and chronic disease management. Other clinic services include audiologist, podiatrist, paediatric registrar, psychiatrist, psychologist and gastroenterologist or referrals to dental and aboriginal and maternal infant care services.
