Additional information
Held every Friday. The program provides assistance to older people with dementia from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to attend and participate in especially designed group activities. The program aims to maintain and improve their physical, social and psychological well being. In addition the program gives carers a much needed break from their caring role. The activities include: Morning tea, culturally appropriate meal, games and crafts, outings, therapeutic activities, activities based on individual needs, lifestyle support workshops, health and well-being development and other lifestyle and leisure activities.
