Townsville Drop in Centre supports homeless and unemployed individuals and acts as a referral service centre if specific treatment is required. Centre provides free showers and laundry with free soap and washing powder available. Also provides free breakfast and lunch. Centre runs various projects which individuals can participate in to earn money. Centre is regularly attended by visiting service providers, including Centrelink, Doctors and Mental Health Agencies, enabling individuals to make contact with these services if required. Centre also assists individuals in dealing with Government Agencies and locating accommodation. Provides a refuge for disadvantaged people through a caring environment, where concerned individuals provide assistance and support. Supports homeless and unemployed individuals and acts as a referral centre. Breakfast and lunch is provided free of charge Monday to Friday.
