The Neurological Rehabilitation clinic provides specialist rehabilitation medicine management for clients who have disabilities related to a neurological condition including:
-- Stroke
-- Multiple Sclerosis
-- Acquired Brain Injury
-- Spina Bifida
-- Parkinsons Disease, Motor Neurone Disease
-- Other neurological and non-neurological conditions
Specialist assessment and treatment of spasticity, including botulinum toxin and therapy, is also available.
Aims:
-- To provide specialist assessment and management of rehabilitation issues in stroke and other neurological conditions.
-- To provide advice to clients and employers regarding return to work programs.
-- To refer clients with a neurological condition for Allied Health management where appropriate.
-- To liaise with the client's GP, specialists and other services to achieve optimal ongoing rehabilitation management for clients.
