Planned Activity Group - High (PAG) provides accessible support services for frail older people and their carers.
PAG provides a comprehensive range of services, programs and activities which give practical and emotional support and social contact for older frail people and older people with disabilities.
Program activities include gentle exercise, discussion groups, outings, personal care, craft and health eduction. PAG is operated in Melton township. Clients attending the centre can be picked up and delivered home by bus. Activities are not limited to the base venue, but also take place in a variety of other community settings.
The day program provides enhancement of daily living skills for the frail aged and those with disabilties. Activities provided include respite for families or carers.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday. Two Saturdays a month carer outings are offered and a carer support group is offered the third Thursday of each month.
Fees
A minimal fee applies for this service in line with the HACC fees policy.
