ACT Health provides Maternal and Child Health (MACH) clinics and wellness support for families with newborn babies and/or young families.
No appointment is required for these brief 15-20 minute drop-in consultations which are provided at various health centre locations.
MACH clinics can provide information on:
Baby and child health issues; Baby and child health development; Nutrition and breastfeeding; Sleep and unsettling issues;
Parenting and advice for new parents;
Child safety;Behavioural issues and
Postnatal depression and/or anxiety.
This service is free to Medicare and Asylum Seeker card holders.
