Additional Information:
We focus on empowering the child and family to maximise the child's potential through individualised activities that are incorporated into play as much as possible.
We listen to your child's and family's needs and work on functional goals that are meaningful to you. Assessment and intervention can be conducted in the child's environment to reduce any stress to the child and to make the intervention contextual to the child's world. Asessment and intervention can alternativley be conducted in clinic rooms if this works better for your family.
Our aim is for the child to feel able to participate in family and community activities and enjoy life!
We recognise that parents/carers are the experts regarding their child, and we consider them to be a member of the intervention team.

Additional Information: Claire and Carolyn have developed a Baby Handling Course due to be launched in December 2014 that provides information for expectant parents around child development and early baby handling. The aim of this course is to prevent the incidence of plagiocephaly, and in the event of plagiocephaly to reduce it's severity by education parents on how to prevent it and how to address it should they identify it.
