The rehabilitation program offered by The Salvation Army is a 3 stage process.
• Stage 1 being at Bridge House, for detox and assessment
• Stage 2 being at Harry Hunter Centre, for a 13 week residential program
• Stage 3 offers a counselling service for non-residential clients and the continuing care for clients which have been through the program; this is through NRS (Non-Residential Services).
Bridge House provides Sobering-up, detoxification and assessment facilities to enter the Bridge program. There are some initial classes and counselling at Bridge House.
Counselling services for clients and family members. Our counsellors come from wide and varied platforms of training. This allows us to assign clients to counsellors that will best accommodate with them both in personality style and therapeutic styles.
Counselling is undertaken on a weekly basis, with additional counselling as needed. At Harry Hunters the program offers counselling to family members.
Target Groups
All adults over 18 years affected by alcohol and other drug misuse.
Entry Requirements
Clients are assessed at Bridge House for eligibility to enter the residential rehabilitation program run at The Harry Hunter Centre.
