Families, community agencies and child protection can make contact with either Child First agencies via the Child First Intake Worker. The service is committed to working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds.
The Family Service Program is an outreach service aiming to enhance family functioning by providing a child centred family focused and needs led case management, counselling service. Service provision is based on a partnership approach between families and staff of the program and is inclusive of all family members.
The Family Support Service:
is a service provided by IPC Health and auspice by the Department of Human Services. the aim of the service is to provide support for families who have children aged 0-18 years living in the Cities of Brimbank, Wyndham & Hobson's Bay. The family workers can work with your family in your home to provide information, advice, advocacy, referrals to other services, case management, practical assistance and group work. If a family chooses to work with the family service, they can decide, at any time, to stop working with us.

IPC Health Aged and Disability Services offer specialised, comprehensive and co-ordinated care to frail aged persons and young people with disabilities in the cities of Moonee Valley, Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Melton and Maribyrnong. The programs provide a case management service with individually tailored packages of care to assist individuals and their families to live in the community and to avoid premature placement into residential care.
The CACPs Program provides support, care co-ordination and brokerage funds for:
- Older people who have complex needs;
- Younger people with disabilities;
- Individuals who are at risk of premature admission to residential care;
- Individuals with dementia; and
- Individuals who would benefit from case management and care co-ordination.
