A program for young people under 18 years, and their families who have had problems in experiencing overwhelming and intense emotional distress, and self-harm.

The CAMHS Emergency Telehealth Service (ETS) provides urgent support to young people, families and carers and provides consultation and advice to health professionals. The CAMHS ETS may also provide a tele-mental health assessment if required. This service is available by calling 1800 048 636 between 8am and 2.30am, seven days a week.

Child Wellbeing Centre - Midland

Aims to reduce the harmful effects of sexual abuse on children. Service assists children to manage trauma, and educates them about strategies that enable them to be safe and establish non-abusive relationships. It teaches parents to recognise the symptoms and effects of sexual abuse against children, and how to provide support. Offers counselling to children and their non-offending family members. All counsellors are trained specifically to work with children who have experienced sexual abuse.
