The Day Care Centre operates from 10.00 am - 3.00 pm, Mondays & Thursdays.

Provides social and recreational activities for frail older people and people with disabilities. Activities include craft, group meals, entertainment, music, church services, trips and other activities as arranged.
Participants can access health and welfare services whilst attending the Centre.
Transport to the Centre can also be arranged.

A service providing adult day activities, which enables people who are aged, or with disabilities, and/or special needs to increase their capacity to participate in life's opportunities.  Participants are able to access health and welfare services while attending the Centre.  Group meals are also provided.  Transport to the Centre can also be arranged.

This Department offers a range of programs for the General Community aimed at enabling people to increase control over the determinants of their health and thereby improve their health and prevent disease.
Working with other services and organisations in a collbaroative way to address common health promotion issues.

Stawell Regional Health Services

The primary service available at the practice is a nursing service.

Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre

The Planned Activity Group Program provides a weekly activity program for community members who are frail aged and isolated. The program assist participants maintain their connection to community and form meaningful social connections.

East Wimmera Health Service - Donald Campus

Day Centre is where individuals from Edenhope and surrounding rural communities can come to participate in social and recreational activities.

Day Centre is located in the Elsie Bennett Community Centre on Lake Street, behind the Hospital.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday 8.00 am—4.30 pm.

What's on?
Chair based exercises, individual activity, group activity, bus trips, involvement in community events.

Referrals
We accept referrals from a wide range of places including: Self, family, friends, Medical Practitioner, Community Nurse, Community Health Nurse, Hospital, Government and non-government community/health services or aged care facility

Cost
$7.00 per day (includes lunch)
$2.00 per day (without lunch)

Transport
Transport may be provided from home to Day Centre and return. No additional charges apply


The Elsie Bennett Community Centre is also available to hire for functions and events depending on the required date. All enquiries can be made to the hospital on (03) 5585 9800.

Edenhope & District Memorial Hospital

Exercise Physiology services are available to assist those recovering from illness, injury, accident or surgery.
