Community Care Social Work

At Compass Counselling we understand that life can be hard. Are you feeling lost, going through a separation or divorce or grieving the loss of a loved one? Are you in a challenging relationship/s, have past trauma, chronic illness, or are struggling with life transitions? Have you struggled to talk about these issues in the past but would like to talk to someone now?Michele offers appointments online through COVIU and has an office on Wednesdays in Conder ACT for face-to-face appointments.

Compass Counselling

Can offer counselling around crises or reactions to illness or treatment. May also help coordinate community services to help you upon discharge. Available to assist if you are experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship problems or need help with accommodation and income issues. If within the hospital, you can ask the ward staff to contact a Social Worker or the public may phone directly to the Social Work Department during business hours on the number provided.

I have worked with women and families since the 1980's.  I have provided assessment and therapeutic role with children and their families/carers who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect and trauma.

Children's Counselling ACT

Lisa is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, providing counselling for adults and young people, individuals and couples in: 
•	management of anxiety and depression;
•	relationships and well-being; 
•	sex therapy and sexual well-being; 
•	recovery from abuse and trauma; 
•	management of sexually problematic behaviours; and 
•	grief and loss.
