The ACT Eating Disorders Clinical Hub (‘the Hub’) is the central referral point for eating disorder services in the ACT. Anyone in the ACT can refer themselves, or someone they are concerned about, for assessment and support. Please see the Canberra Health Services website for more informaion.

Canberra Health Services provides mental health assessment, support and treatment in hospital and in the community for children and young people. There are a range of supports and services available to you or a child in your care. If you or a child in your care are in a life-threatening situation, please call 000 immediately. If you need immediate support and assistance call Access Mental Health on 1800 629 354 or (02) 6205 1065 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The SYMHO team provides support and treatment for young people aged 14 - 25 who are experiencing first episode psychosis, and teenagers aged 14 - 18 at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis.

Only internal referrals accepted. 
Refer to CAMHS or Access Mental Health to assess needs and these services will refer to SYMHO if appropriate.

Billing: Free for Medicare Card and Asylum Seeker Card holders, and those with reciprocal healthcare agreements.
