Kilburn Community Centre

The Kilburn Community Centre is a service of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. It provides a focus for local community groups and community gatherings, and has developed strong support from multicultural community organisations, with many groups holding regular activities. The Centre comprises several meeting rooms, a large hall and kitchen for catered functions, together with a separate creche and play area. For more physical activities a fully equipped stadium is available.

Multiple Sclerosis services include education and support for people who are newly diagnosed, specialist nursing assistance, counselling, physiotherapy, assessments and rehabilitaion, hydrotherapy, yoga, exercise classes, use of Vibrogym and Theravital machines, occupational therapy, peer support program, job capacity assessment and employment support. The only requirement for receiving a service is that you have a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. In some cases, the Society will also provide services to people with other neurological conditions. CanTeen has a counselling service which is available to young people aged 12-24 who have a parent diagnosed with cancer or whose parent has died from cancer.
